The Program for the Human Environment recognizes the growing connection between the biological and other research underway at The Rockefeller University and environmental concerns. The Program houses research, organizes meetings on topics of interest to the campus community, hosts visiting scientists in environmental fields, and encourages collaborations between faculty and students. The Program is responsible for communicating widely the scientific results of environmental studies involving the University in an effort to inform environmental practices and policies. It also houses selected studies concerned with the health of the scientific enterprise.
The Program for Human Environment is looking for a part-time Administrator to support all aspects of the department's daily operations. Responsibilities include calendar coordinating, budget and expense report tracking, and travel arrangements for multiple individuals within the departments. The Administrator will coordinate meetings, order office supplies, and contact vendors in a fast-paced team environment.
Bachelor's degree required. Must be computer proficient and possess robust Microsoft Office Suite skills, including data entry, spreadsheets, data organization, and Excel. Excellent written and oral communication, organization, time management, interpersonal skills, and the ability to multitask required. Experience working with Zoom, Skype, Google Suite, and Doodle programs is a plus.
