The Talent Acquisition Associate will join the scientific recruiting group and have a lasting impact on our brand and the people interested in joining our biomedical community. Will partner with recruiters, biomedical laboratories, and hiring managers to provide a world-class Talent Acquisition experience and create a memorable candidate experience. Responsibilities will include assisting with full-cycle recruitment efforts for the Rockefeller University Research Assistant (RURA) program at 25 Universities, evaluating and screening resumes and cover letters, conducting interviews, facilitating the "matching" process for candidates and hiring managers, coordinating on-site visits, and managing our ATS. Will manage and schedule virtual and in-person interviews throughout the recruitment process while coordinating travel and accommodations for possible candidates, if needed. Will be responsible for serving as liaison between HR and employee affinity groups (Rockefeller University Research Assistant, Laboratory Information Network Connect) to coordinate regular social events and training series; creating employee engagement, and cultivating the unique Rockefeller culture. Will post job descriptions in the Applicant Tracking System, career websites, job boards, and university websites. #INDPRO21
Bachelor's degree required; educational emphasis in the life sciences, Human Resources Management, Organizational Psychology, or relevant field preferred. A minimum of 1-2 years of experience with biomedical research, HR, recruiting, or a related discipline preferred. Must be willing to travel when University business travel resumes. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook required. Familiarity with social media, especially LinkedIn, necessary. Hands-on experience with various selection processes like phone interviews and reference checks preferred. Must be passionate about building connections and networking and have familiarity or interest in diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts in Human Resources. Excellent communication, organization, and writing skills are required. The ability to work efficiently and effectively and multi-task while maintaining attention to detail required. Must collaborate with humility and emotional maturity within a team dynamic and act with a sense of urgency, accountability, and ownership of responsibilities.
